FAQ

Questions

The short answers. For the mechanics, see the docs; for launch details, see the token page.

What is Chroma? +
Chroma is an AI agent that reads the chromatic signature of a token. You give it a name, ticker, or theme, and it returns a 5-colour palette, a mood report, six axis scores, and a visual direction — the way a brand designer would commit to a look, with a reason for every swatch.
Do I need a wallet to use it? +
No. The demo takes plain words — no wallet connection, no chain data, nothing to sign. Just type a name and read the color.
Is the demo free? +
Yes. The live demo is free to try, with a per-day limit per IP so the public endpoint stays up for everyone. You'll see how many analyses you have left after each run.
What model powers it? +
Claude Haiku 4.5, via OpenRouter. The agent is prompted to reason about how a name feels and return strict, validated JSON — so the palette is opinionated and specific, not random hex codes.
When does $CHROMA launch? +
13 June 2026 at 6:00 PM UTC — launches in . It's a fair launch on pump.fun: no presale, no team allocation. See the token page for details.
What's the contract address? +
It reads TBA until launch, then it's published in the navbar, on the token page, and across the official channels. Always verify the CA against the X and Telegram accounts before buying — fakes are common around launches.
How do I avoid impersonators? +
There is one official X (@chromalabsAI) and one official Telegram (@chromalabsAI). The only valid contract address is the one those accounts and this site publish at the same time. If a CA appears anywhere else first, treat it as fake.
Will my palette be the same every time? +
Close, not identical. The agent runs with a little creative temperature, so re-reading the same name can shift accents or wording. The overall direction stays consistent — the same name won't suddenly read cold when it reads hot.
Can I use the palettes commercially? +
Yes — colors aren't copyrightable, and the output is yours to use for branding, art direction, or anything else. Chroma is a starting point a designer can run with.
Is this financial advice? +
No. $CHROMA is a community token with no intrinsic value or promise of return. Everything here is information only — do your own research and never spend more than you can afford to lose.
